POT is a full-service pottery studio owned and operated by people of color, a majority of which are women and Los Angeles natives. We are devoted to celebrating the cultures and communities surrounding us through an ancient art form that connects so many of us. We felt a need for a space that felt accessible and empowering for those that felt marginalized in ceramic spaces – namely persons of color, the queer community, and millennials.

The Honey Block is a digital wellness bodega for millennial creatives and entrepreneurs of Color. A sweet reflection of the street dimension, The Honey Block is comprised of three main elements: Classes, Content and Community.

EVERYBODY is devoted to creating and supporting a brave and inclusive environment for all bodies to move, strengthen, and heal. We believe that health and wellness should be accessible, affordable and adaptive to all people regardless of their gender, size, age, ethnicity or ability.

 

The We Gallery is an underground art gallery and secret supper club. Their goal is to showcase emerging underground artist by highlighting and celebrating creative arts, music and culture. Their vision is to create a safe space for the community that inspires and nurtures creativity and positivity.

The We Gallery host special events; including Paint and Sip Parties, Private Film and Television Screenings, Cultural & LGTBQ Special Events, Secret Suppers, and more.

ProjectQ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Madin Ray Lopez. Their organization helps LGBTQIA+ homeless youth navigate a world that perpetually tries to diminish them. Their mission is to use hair and self-empowerment as a form of social justice.  

ProjectQ provides free gender affirming haircuts, self empowering workshops, food & hygiene boxes, gender affirming clothing, chest binders, menstrual products, and more to LGBTQIA+ youth experiencing homelessness.

Stuzo Clothing’s mission is to create a space in the fashion world where all are welcome without judgment. Stuzo Clothing is a gender free clothing company designed to invoke thought and emotion.

Stuzo is for the non-conforming and bold at heart.

 

Tasha Johnson opened Black owned & queer owned barbershop High & Tight in 2019 and hasn’t looked back.

Located in Mid-City, Los Angeles, Tasha and the High & Tight team have created an inclusive atmosphere where you can take self-care to the next level.

“A salon for Dames, Gents & Folx in between.” Folklore Salon & Barber is community conscious, minority owned, & eco-friendly. What’s not to love?

Located in Cypress Park, Folklore’s doors and minds are open to all gender identities, hair types & styles. They proudly celebrate individuality, diversity and are willing to push the boundaries as far as your vision is willing to go.

Portia Wilson (she/they) is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Los Angeles, California. After graduating magna cum laude from Emperor’s College she founded Deeper Genius Acupuncture and Healing Arts to facilitate a practice of holistic healthcare that focuses on providing culturally informed, evidenced based medical and spiritual care to her clientele of brilliant, compassionate, creative people.

 

We offer our Core Values as guidelines for FCCW staff and anyone who engages with the FCCW community and space. They are a map of what we stand for and how we move internally and externally— connecting our intentions and actions from the smallest to the largest levels.

They help us stay accountable to ourselves and to our community, remind us who and what we are working for and why, and inspire us to continue this work with integrity, generosity, and love.

Under New MGMT is constantly developing new designs that utilize vintage and recycled materials to provide their clients with unique, sustainable event and floral options.

As they’ve witnessed first hand the untapped creative potential in fellow events and the floral labor force, many of whom are fellow POC, immigrants, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, UNMGMT seeks to shift traditional power structures in their industry by exclusively hiring and collaborating with individuals from these communities.
